The colour is vibrant and beautiful. The bottle says you can leave it in for up to 5 minutes. I wanted a more pale shade so I put it through my hair and rinsed out after only 10 seconds and the vibrancy/pop of colour after such a short time was impressive. It does wash out fairly easy with each wash, but not so much that it feels like a waste. Another bonus, my hair looks really shiny and healthy, something that De Lorenzo (in my experience with a few of their colours) seems to have nailed. After a few washes I got the pale peach I wanted, but please note, this colour offers intensity if you want it.
