How to Get the Perfect Hair Blowout

Foundation:

The key to the perfect blowout is the hair itself. Layers will be your best friend when styling a blowout, as they boost volume by removing any weight that may be dragging down your hair!

Prep:
To get that salon blowout look you first need to wash and condition your hair, then towel dry. For a big, bouncy blowout, we recommend using a root mousse. Wella Eimi Root Shoot is the go-to in all Synergy Hair salons. Apply directly to the roots (section by section) and comb through to evenly distribute the product. Spray a little heat protection spray on the ends to keep them looking nice and healthy.

Blow dry:
Now it’s time to dry… section the hair – start with the bottom section. Grab your hairdryer and attach a concentrator nozzle for more precise airflow. Take a round brush and wrap a section of hair around it. Aim the nozzle down onto the brush and pull the hair out at a 90 degree angle from the scalp to create volume.

When the section is dry, wrap it round a velcro roller with tension all the way to the scalp and move onto the next! Leave in your rollers until the hair cools.

Styling:
Now to top it all off you can spritz a bit of hairspray for extra hold, or if you want some added oomph, tease the roots slightly with a fine-toothed comb. Shake your head gently to loosen up the hair and add that touch of effortless glam.
