Online Loyalty Terms & Conditions

The Synergy Hair online loyalty programme is offered to our online customers in New Zealand. If you are part of this programme, you agree and consent to these terms and conditions.
 
Joining the Loyalty Programme: 

  • a. Any customer who signs up for an online account is automatically enrolled in our loyalty programme.
  • b. To create a new account is easy. You need to sign up as a new customer, provide us with an email address (which can only be registered to one account), a first name and a last name.
  • c. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s approval to join our loyalty programme. Your parent or guardian will need to read these Terms & Conditions. We will assume, if you are under 18 when you join, that you have complied with these requirements.

How the Loyalty Programme Works 

  • a. You attain points by purchasing products from our online store while you are logged into your customer account. It is your responsibility to make sure you are logged into your account before checking out if you want to earn points.
  • b. You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Each point can be redeemed for a $0.05 discount e.g. 100 points = $5 discount.
  • c. Points are earned according to the total amount spent after any discounts are applied. Example: order total $50 minus $10 coupon discount, so the user earns points on $40 order value only.
  • d. You can still earn rewards on products that are on sale. You will earn points according to the sale price, not the original price (minus any further discounts if applicable).
  • e. Online Loyalty Points can only be redeemed for discounts on online purchases and are not applicable for in-store transactions. Conversely, in-store discounts obtained through Bonus Cards are exclusively applicable for in-store purchases and cannot be redeemed as discounts on online orders. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these guidelines.
  • f. Points usually cannot be redeemed in conjunction with coupon codes.
  • g. If your order is refunded or cancelled, the points you earned from this order will be removed from your account. If you have any pending orders where you have redeemed points you previously earned from an order that was recently refunded, your pending order may be cancelled, or you may be asked to pay the discounted amount. A pending order refers to an order that has been paid for but has not yet been dispatched.
  • h. You automatically earn 200 points when you sign up for a new customer account.
  • i. You will earn 10 points for each product review that is accepted by our customer service team. We will only accept genuine reviews on our website. If your review includes profanity or language deemed inappropriate, the review will not be accepted. Synergy Hair reserves the right not to accept product reviews if there appear to be multiple ingenuine product reviews from one customer account.

How to View Your Loyalty Points

  • a. You will receive an email notification each time you earn points. This email will tell you how many points you earned from your recent purchase and your new balance.
  • b. You can log into your customer account and view your points balance and transaction history. Simply visit the Loyalty section of My Account.

How to Redeem Your Points 

  • a. You can choose to apply your points at the Cart or Checkout page. Simply enter the number of points you want to apply and click Apply. The discount will appear as a discount underneath the order subtotal.
  • b. If you have clicked Apply but then wish to remove the discount, you can do this by clicking Remove before proceeding with payment.

Rewards Expiration 

  • a. Points expire after 12 months. You will receive a courtesy email 30 days before points are due to expire.

Restrictions to your Loyalty Account 

  • a. You can only have one Synergy Hair Loyalty Account.
  • b. Rewards are non-transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash or equivalent.
  • c. Synergy Hair reserves the right to remove points from a user if the user has violated our terms & conditions.

Changes to these Terms & Conditions 

  • a. We keep these Terms & Conditions on the ‘Synergy Hair’ website, so it is easy for you to access them.
  • b. We try not to change these Terms & Conditions too often, but sometimes we need to. When we change these Terms & Conditions, we will put the updated version on the ‘Synergy Hair’ website straight away. We will also put a notice on the ‘Synergy Hair’ website when we make significant updates, so you will know this has happened.
  • c. Synergy Hair reserves the right to change the loyalty programme as it sees fit, which includes but is not limited to changing the NZD to points conversion rate, disabling points earning and/or redeeming when major promotions are running, and excluding certain products/brands/categories from earning points.
  • d. If you continue to use your loyalty programme after we change these Terms & Conditions, you will be deemed to have accepted the changed Terms & Conditions.
