It’s a great comb and very good for styling my thick layered hair. This is my first tortoise shell hair comb and I love it! Sturdy and surprisingly it tends to stay pretty clean as well after the first combing. Also I would like to send out a very positive review on SYNERGYHAIR as well. As i read in other reviews, yes it is a large comb! but does the trick. teeth are a little sharper than expected but overall great value for the low price
